The Underneath – Movie Review

The Underneath
Starring Holt Boggs, Natalie Wilemon.

Plot: A young newlywed couple find themselves trapped in a network of underground caves. With her husband injured, the new bride is forced to find her way back to the surface in order to save his life. In the process, they discover a terrifying truth about the “underneath”, they are not alone. Something evil is hunting them

With this movie, we are not treated to a group of girlfriends who decide to go exploring vast caverns, but rather a newly married couple who decide to go on a camping trip and fall pray to a colony of “crawlers” (See Descent). As entertaining as it was (not) to see a bad version of previously mentioned film, one can only wonder how some people manage to get funding to make a film.

Save your time (and the popcorn) and watch Descent 1 & 2 instead. 🙂
